It's ok to like the cash.
It's ok to watch the minutes in to hours
when the minutes into hours go fast.
When the minutes into hours don't last.

Hating your job is just a construct,
to keep your punk credentials in check.
But there's many out there who make a living out of punk,
I know you've bought their records once or twice.

There's many who are stuck in a rut,
in a job for which they couldn't give a fuck,
selling out their souls for a dirty quick buck
when they could be doing something that they like.

So if you like music, form a band.
If you like cooking, be a chef,
And if you like being a sociopathic arsehole,
you can always find a school and teach gym.
